They too are created by the same loving hand named God. They cannot speak like us but can communicate through the easiest universal language called… Love. A part of your soul will remain un-awakened until you have loved an animal. – SadgurudevSatyashri
This is the guiding philosophy of volunteers at AAS Ashram which motivates them to embrace all living beings with compassion. Thousands of injured, abandoned or unwanted animals turn to us every year. At AAS we believe in animal welfare through education. Children have natural instinct of compassion and love towards animals. We need nurture those seeds with proper care so that they are transformed into trees.
Activities by AAS:
- Various camps, animal welfare workshops, painting and essay competitions are organised at school and college level to teach students about the value of compassion.
- Families are motivated to adopt animals.
- Street dogs are provided with necessary vaccination and medical care.
- Feeding of stray dogs at designated spots.
- Monitoring cruelty to animals like horses, donkeys, elephants, camels etc.
- In association with partner organisations emergency relief is provided to animals in case of accidents.
- Efforts are made to rehabilitate wild animals to their natural habitat.
We can take this mission to a next level only with your active support and participation. Our aim is to improve the situation for animals by providing veterinary care, supporting their natural habitat and through education. Even a small donation can go a long way in checking animal abuse.
