Underprivileged always existed in Indian society. Though much has been done to uplift their status yet a lot need to be done. AAS has tried innovative ways to bridge the gap between privileged and underprivileged section to help them achieve a better life.
We persuade people to directly interact with the underprivileged and try to understand their needs and fund their kids education. Their only hope of coming out of this vicious circle of poverty is by educating their kids and making them professionally skilled.
AAS tells them the benefits of insurance and provides them life and health insurance. We encourage them to buy on their own. If they can’t afford, we try to fund the genuine ones.
AAP volunteers help them enhance their skills by enrolling them in skill enhancement course appropriate for them and fund it.
We also help them when they or their family face medical problems. Guide them on which doctor or specialist to go to and fund their medical expenses.
We try to dissuade them from superstitions and dogmatic practices such as child marriage, not sending girl child to school etc.
Most importantly, we encourage them to dream and be positive.
